How it works
No manual needed. Eight steps, and you're talking — privately. Here's exactly what to do and what each part is for.
Install United CHAT from the App Store and try everything free for 3 days. Then continue with a monthly or yearly plan — or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
Pick a name. That's it — no phone number, no email, nothing stored about you on a server. Your identity is just a name and a private key on your phone.
Send someone a one-time link (or scan theirs). Both sides have to accept — there's no public directory, so no one can find you by chance.
Each chat has a short security code. Compare it with your contact once — if it matches, you know no one is secretly sitting in the middle.
Type in your language; your contact reads it in theirs, and back again. Everything is end-to-end encrypted, and the translation happens on your phone — never on a server.
Turn on what you need: a panic code that wipes everything, auto-erase if you go quiet and remote wipe from any browser.
Lost the phone? Open the wipe page in any browser, sign in with your ID and password, and your data is made unreadable within minutes — the phone erases itself the next time it is online, even if it is offline right now.
A wipe destroys your chats on purpose — but not your subscription. Reinstall the app and tap Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account. Your subscription comes back; the old chats do not.

No. Your identity is a name, a random ID, and a key. You reach people with a one-time link — both sides have to agree.
On your device. The relay only ever sees sealed, encrypted envelopes; your keys never leave the phone and never sync to iCloud.

No — it makes your voice harder to recognise, but content, phrasing and background can still identify a person. We're honest about what each feature does and doesn't do.
Yes. From any browser you sign in with your ID and password and trigger a wipe — your data becomes unreadable within minutes, and the phone erases itself the next time it comes online. A panic code and a dead-man switch do the same from the device.
No. A wipe destroys your chats and media on purpose — that data is gone for good. But your access is not: reinstall the app and tap Restore Purchases (your subscription is tied to your Apple Account). You start with a fresh identity — old chats don't return, but you keep the access you paid for.
